Was COVID-19 Predicted?

A few days ago, I came across a social media post that was about the prophetess Sylvia Browne. In 2008 she wrote: "In around 2020 a severe pneumonia-like illness will spread throughout the globe, attacking the lungs and bronchial tubes and resisting all known treatments. Almost more baffling than the illness itself will be the fact that it will suddenly vanish as quickly as it arrived, attack again ten years later, and then disappear completely." The passage was written in her book, "End of Days". People are now wondering if this is an actual prediction, or a lucky guess as the book was written after the SARS outbreak. However, you have to admit that the passage is chilling and certainly fits the situation we are going through right now. What do you think? Was this a prediction, or a lucky guess?

I believe anything big like this was predicted, they have a plan to end the federal reserve and they will blame this fake flu that's going around.

You believe this pandemic is fake? That's curious why do you think that?

@indiandevil ok the pandemic is not fake but the virus it's self is. You can not trust the media with anything they say. It's all coming down to one world government and they want to get rid of the dollar and go digital with everything. It's been the plan for years.

I do think it's possible it was a prediction. Perhaps not a psychic one but an educated one. It's quite possible to predict certain things. Similar illnesses with similar descriptions come around every so often. If this prophetess had access to scientific knowledge and history (which is likely in 2008), she could quite easily have predicted this pandemic just as a scientist might predict how Earth will change or how a virus might evolve.

This is very true. We see predictions everyday and we know that. They are even making educated guesses with this virus, even though they are still learning about it. I guess we just have to trust in these scientists that they will figure this out in due time, and that maybe this virus won't last for a long period of time.

This is very true. This pandemic is hard for everyone. Aside from the virus itself, the economy and jobs are taking a huge hit. I feel bad for those people. Now our PM has made unemployment available here for those who lose their jobs due to the virus but for some people unemployment just isn't enough to match their income. This is the time we need to pray that it doesn't last long. Otherwise, there is going to be a major crisis world wide that I'm not sure we will ever get out of.
