In my country the infected and suspected infected people will be quarantined so that the rest people won't be infected. At the same time, some countries adopt a different way. Such as UK will use herd immunity. They will mainly treat the seroius patients and the minor patients will stay at home as they will get well. Their lives still go on. Since they think if more people are infected, then finally mainjor people will have the immunity at last. Since this is not a serious disease and the death rate is about 2%, so they won't use the methods like lockdown. I am not a doctor and I don't know which way is better. I think the coronavirus is serious since its infection is terrible and fast. There is a case in Wuhan and the whole family was infected one by one and finally they all died at last. That means to say if let the infected people stayed at home, then it is easy to infect their family and therefore it will lead to a bigger problem.

There is a guideline for those who are in self-quarantine at home. They should not be in contact with any person and preferably the bedroom has its own toilet and bathroom. Food will be left outside the door and after eating the plates would be left outside the door for the family member to get it.

@youless if people will not cooperate then that would be a problem with the objective.

I hope people just use common sense and stay away from others if they get infected.

Today we can't really tell which one is infected or not unless he/she has the test. This is why we shall not get together so often like before.

Infected people don't always get better so it seems a bit of a risk to let people get it if it can be avoided.

If there are more people infected, then the serious cases will be much more.

Country with so much activities and mix culture seems to be the worst affected.

Sometimes I guess mixed culture may be an advantage as they can learn from others' virtues?
