So if you have read my discussions you know I was supposed to leave for vacation to Branson, Missouri this morning (this was planned a year ago).
This morning we got a call that that morning Branson had closed all the shows and tourist attractions. So, we aren't going. I understand, and I'm not upset, just disappointed. I do feel for the people that work there. People's livelihoods are being eliminated, and I hope every community bands together to help those whose jobs are being suspended with no warning.
What was your last big disappointment?

@AmbiePam I totally agree. A lot of places are down now - and many more will be down - so everyone hold on to your hats - it's all in a effort to keep this thing from spreading anymore than it has to. I hope you can reschedule for a time when we all can be out and about again - something to look forward to again!

Will you be reimbursed for any expenses like travel or tickets?
Yes, it's really go to be hard on so many people. Not just the attractions, but the restaurants around attractions who aren't getting any business.

Every year that I can't travel because I can't get around...However, we are planning a driving trip to the Florida Keys for later this year for our 50th anniversary; and we plan on doing it up right. If this virus thing is still around then, I will be VERY disappointed! I'm sorry you had to cancel your trip.

That is a big disappointment.I am glad it is not going to hit you in the pockets. The shut downss are going to be a real problem for those who do customer service.

It's disappointing that you have waited for long for your vacation and now it's cancelled. Hopefully you can get to go once this crazy virus is over.

That is really sad. I am disappointed that we decided to cancel friend's party. Key people cancelled, and I decided sis and brother in law shouldn't make the trip for just a few people. We may have a couple of people still show up..but just neighbors and the like.

Yeah alot of shows, bars and restaurants our closing here. All schools just down indefinitely but I still have to work. Hoping they will let some of us start working from home but who knows. I am canceling my doctor appointments this week too as their in the area where there is corona virus.
