Please Take Only What You Need!

All this hoarding is getting out of hand. If everyone would just calm down and purchase as they did three weeks ago there wouldn't be stores that have nothing on the shelves. Thankfully, we live in a neighborhood where we take care of each other. No one can come in the house because of Bro, but we can still help each other. Are people hoarding in your area?

Oh yes, they are hoarding here. From what I gather there isn't any toilet paper, hygiene products, cleaning supplies and now they are hitting things like canned food. I won't be out and about to shop until Friday, and I hope I can get everything I need. It's gotten to the point the Prime Minister reminded everyone today in his speech, to buy only what you need. If anything, this is showing me how many selfish and greedy people there are in this world. Scared or not, they should think of others too!

@Writingghost This is a very good idea. It would definitely help, that's for sure.

@indiandevil I guess fear causes us to do dumb things.

I just finished making a big batch of hand sanitizer. I am going to drop them in the neighborhood boxes. Perhaps then they will leave it in the stores for others.

People have been terrible here. So many stores are empty. My mom felt like she won the lottery because she was able to get two bottles of soap and a thing of ammonia for cleaning.

Who is bro? My son is the store manager of an electronics store and he limited the amount of certain items people could buy at one time.

Oh, that's my Brother, I don't have permission to use his name from him. He has SLE Lupus and congestive heart failure and we are waiting for sugery, so we are very careful about who comes and goes.

They are hoarding everywhere. The trucks come in and make deliveries; and the stock is gone in 20 minutes.

It's been a state of emergency since yesterday, but I think people in cities have already started buying more than they should. I can't understand that.

I assume it must be fear and it seems like it is just going to make it very hard for some.

Yes, They just started to get panic about the virus and bought a lot of hand sanitizers and toilet papers. I hope they will stop to panic and think of others too

I went shopping today and they were out of any type of soap, very low on toilet paper and out of dry pasta.
