I was going to my Dad's house to move some things and they stopped me and told me I was not allowed to travel to southern Utah. There was nothing in the news. I had driven 300 miles and had to turn around. I just don't get it.

OMG. Who stopped you? I haven't heard of any travel restrictions here.

Local highway patrol. It was odd.

Maybe where you live I can go to Montana just fine - but can't stay in the same state I live in and go. Odd.

That makes me more nervous. My son and daughter are in Texas visiting their Dad and supposed to drive home tomorrow (Colorado). I have had this feeling that they had better get home NOW. Of course, they just laugh.

Hmm... there should have an announcement at least. Could the announcement have been made when you were already on the way?

I know what you mean since the story of travel bans have not been reported in Louisiana.

Why weren’t you allowed to drive to Utah. I haven’t heard anything about any States being closed to traffic. I wonder why.

This is not good at all. I'm sorry you had to drive all that way. They should have announced it, but maybe they just put this in place?
