This lady in line...

I went to the store today, this crazy coronavirus... time to buy a bag of food for my cat.
In line, a woman behind me asked me if I had a cat. I stare at her....Why would I be buying cat food, right? So I told her no, I don’t have a cat , that I was starting the cat food diet again, and that I probably shouldn't because I ended up in the hospital the last time, but I lost 15 pounds!
I told her it was the perfect diet and that all you have to do is carry the kibble in your pockets and eat one or two every time you feel hungry (I have to mention that practically everyone in line was interested in my story) .
Then she asks me if I ended up in the hospital because the cat food had poisoned me. I answered of course not! I was admitted because I bent down to smell the a-- of a bulldog and I was hit by a truck.
I thought the man behind her was going to have a heart attack because he was laughing so hard.
...Let’s continue promoting reading!
Now that you read this, I have to confess, I made this up to make you smile. It's your turn to copy it and make someone else laugh...
With everything going on we need to laugh more! Have a GREAT DAY

Okay, I went out today to buy three bags of cat food, do I have cats? NO! But I give food to the cats of my neighbors and I want to be sure they will have food if my neighbors cannot go out to buy. I also buy birds seeds and I do not have birds.

You're still buying with the intent on feeding it to cats, and birds. That sort of counts right?

@LadyDuck That's awesome. There's no cats around here or I might be feeding them as well

@indiandevil I still buy and I will continue to offer treats to the cats and to the birds. The cashier one day asked me "did you adopt a cat?" and I replied "sort of, not one but three".

That would have been something wouldn't it have? Honestly, I don't think I could have kept such a straight face though, knowing me I'd burst out laughing like the guy toward the end!

@josie_ My brother showed me a video on tiktok the other day. In the video this kid gets busted by his dad for being in a walmart parking lot after midnight. When the dad asks why he's there he first says his friends mom sent him to get cat food for her fish, and then he says he's buying cat food for the dog. It was kinda funny to watch.

@indiandevil _Who knows it might come in handy in the future. I've always maintain that sarcasm is the best answer for stupidity. But should someone in a grocery line ask me if the dog food I'm buying is for a dog I think I'll respond with a "Woof! woof!.

@indiandevil 20 days of isolation is not a big deal. We will know how prison feels, and actually refrain from being bad...whatever that bad is.

@topffer Its worth a try I suppose...imagine, being interviewed on TV... I tried cat food to check if it can overcome Corona virus...I tried dog food to see if it can overcome Corona virus. Wonder who will eat what pigs eat...but that ain't gonna be Me for sure.

It's hard to say, probably, but there is a chance the other character knew it was bull.

I have to agree with you. The tension online is so tight you can feel it as you surf along. I don't think I have not met up with stories about this virus all day long. Just when I think it's safe to jump into the Internet pool another story pops up.

I have to agree. It seems that it's all anyone is talking about. However, it's a big event, that has never really happened before. This will probably be in school books years from now.

I have always been a big fan of humor, and I think humor can play a big part in helping us all get through this coronavirus calamity.
Thanks for making me laugh!
