Human kindness is still around. looking on the bright side ... with this enforced time off, due to the virus, I have the time to visit with you all on here.... and share with you this little nugget of human kindness & appreciation. Spain is on a lock down with restricted movement outside... I'll say a bit more about that in another post...   But of course ... certain people are still having to work.. the police, the refuse collectors , street cleaners... doctors,  nurses and supermarket workers and delivery people...  ect... well ...,  the other night while watching tv, we could here some clapping and cheering and someone was even banging a saucepan... we wondered what on earth was going on.... as no one was supposed to be out...  so we stepped out onto our balcony to see what it was ... just as our neighbour did the same... we asked him if he knew why they were making the noise, and he said,  it was to show appreciation of the refuse collectors and others that have to work regardless of the virus, apparently, they are going to do it again at 20.00 hours every night this week, to show thanks and appreciation... which I think is a very thoughtful thing to do.... Keep well my friends... by the way...., I love the sentiment in the post photo... so I thought I'd share that with you too...

There are some good news stories coming out of these tough times. Stay safe. And yes, that's a lovely sentiment. I knew about sunflowers facing the sun but didn't know the rest of the story.

I agree with your thought on the centiments portrayed by the photo. Hats off to those workers who work all the time to keep others happy in extreme conditions.
