School is out

I cannot imagine our kids from our classroom without school, but school is closed indefinitely.
I have a full check coming the first week in April, so I should be good for a minute or two. I also know that there will be jobs available, always. I just will have to drive a bit to get there.
I may be eligible for unemployment.
At least I will file for it.
Also will step up my online work. Anything will help.

@sallypup Yes, most stores are reducing their hours to allow time to clean and sanitize and restock their shelves.

The jobs that are closing are restaurants, food places, schools, day care centers. Other places, like nursing homes and direct care for adult disabled will be needing help. Call centers are always looking for help. Stores are not closing.

Yes, that will be the situation here. Continued learning. No groups over about ten, I think. I do not know what that will mean for my students as they do not have the ability to learn online.

@changjiangzhibin89 It is going to take a long time for things to be put right. My school district says they plan to pay us anyway.

@GardenGerty It seems that a turnaround in the epidemic situation is not likely anytime soon.I understand how you feel as for your students.

@wolfgirl569 our district says it will pay us through the end of the year as if we were working. That way our benefits will be covered as well.

I guess next Monday we will be meeting with the principal in groups of less than ten with the Principal at times he will assign, to learn what it will mean. I will get paid for that of course.

We shall see. I was contemplating looking for another job before summer anyway. This may be proper motivation.

Our leaders by having us quarantined is hoping to contain the virus by April 13. Although it can be cut short or extended depending on the situation. An online job will be best for you so you can quarantine yourself at the same time while earning.
