Ghost Town

I went for a walk, heard they were giving food at the Church and wanted to help but there was nothing to help with, I feel so stagnant and wanted to help, but there's nothing to help with at the moment so I went to Old Town to check on Teresa my friend who runs the Columbia Mercantile 1855.
Rest assured I took all necessary precautions, and kept my distance of course with virtually no one in town that wasn't hard.
Small businesses are being really effected by this, and people hoarding really isn't helping.
Our Governor is saying that schools will likely be closed till August, but our school district is saying April 14, so I think there's a bit of denial going on there,

That's the problem if the citizens or businesses won't follow the government's order. Why are not following?

@Nakitakona Thanks, it's just a stress on her like so many! I've seen a lot of shaming by some, not you! But people are quick to make judgements!

@Michellekidwell I'm not making a conclusion. I'm not singling her out. Grocers, sellers and the like are urged to do their business to cater to the basic needs of the people in a critical time we have nowadays.

Small businesses here are closed and in one month they will go bankrupt unless the building owner would not charge them the rental.

@Michellekidwell I don't think grocery stores will be closed together with pharmacies.

I will see what is going on tomorrow in my area when I go to the Walgreens. My friends went to the food pantry today and got some more frozen chicken so we're set. How is Little Miss doing through all this?

Yes they are, she is getting business because she's a grocery store, but she's not getting all her orders in!

I assume that is a photo of your town there and I like the look of the old town.
I keep hearing stories of towns looking like ghost towns yet I go out in mine and everything looks pretty much the same except the toilet paper isle is empty.

I think year round school may be coming to a lot of districts when this thing is over.
