"Why did you never voice yourself?" I did... You got mad... "When?" remember your birthday and you saw a text from my friend telling me to stay safe and they loved me? Well as I tried explaining at the time my friend was concerned for me because he knew I was making a huge effort for you... It was my first time going somewhere on my own and I didn't know exactly where I was going... I nearly missed the stop... "I asked to see that text..." Yeah and I tried explaining why I didn't want to and you got mad because I told you I wasn't comfortable with it... "You likened me to your parents..." No, I didn't I said it felt like a controlling behaviour like what my parents do... They take my phone and they scroll through my messages... So yes I felt uncomfortable... "Why didn't you say that? You ruined my birthday" I did say... I did explain... and you got really mad and I cried... remember? "Why didn't you tell me being on my phone or playing Xbox made you feel ignored...?" I did but you got mad... I stopped using my phone around you given we don't get much time together and I wanted to give you every second of my attention... Till I had to call mum when it was time to come home... Meanwhile, you sat there and scrolled through fb marketplace or messaged your housemate that was in the room next to us... When you played Xbox I felt like you were busy... You could do that when I'm not here... I know I don't talk much but if you're playing Xbox I feel like you're busy so I don't want to interrupt... "Why didn't you tell me?!?" I did... several times.
