I Had Forgotten Life Is Still Going On!

A mother and two children died in a house fire last night ... I was sitting here watching the local news when I stopped ... sat here thinking.
Gracious, we have been so intent on the constant, updating news on the coronavirus ... I had forgotten Life is still going on! The virus isn't the only 'bad'thing happening in our world. How could I have done such?
I watched the grieving family standing outside the home. My Heart cared deeply as I felt it squeeze in pain. I'm so, so sorry they died ... her family is now going through this too.

Yes, it is very sad. What's is sad too ... is what's going on that we forget to see what's going on around us because we are so focused on trying to exist now. I am so, so sorry for that family. It's nice to meet you, Michele. Gloria

Oh that's terrible bless them, yes definitely there is still other bad stuff happening and I think people need to realise that, this is such a good discussion, i hope you are well :-)

Thank you very much. Skip (my husband) and I are well. We are keeping to ourselves. I hope you and your family are well, also. Yes, I had been so focused on the news ... breaking news and such to do with this latest crisis that ... I didn't pay attention to anything else until it seeped into my mind. Gracious.

@GrannyGee I'm glad to hear your both well, and yes my family is all ok thank you :-) I understand what your saying and I think the media and the news need to make such tragedies and important news be shown as well so people can see this

Yes, like right now it's so surreal with what's going on. You can go outside ... drive somewhere (we did once but, never stopped to get out ... just drove to see if the world was still turning) ... and all look so normal ... yet, it isn't at all. It's nice to meet you. Gloria
