California is now on lockdown

Yep! First it was the city/county . . . and now it is the whole state. We've stayed home all week . . . and well, hopefully all this flattens the curve as we've been hearing. Hope this works . . . here we go!! Best of luck to you out there too!

What's really crummy is that the testing situation has ensured that there is a huge discrepancy between the number of reported cases and the number of actual infections. The lockdown orders stink, but it's going to take drastic measures to flatten that growth curve to something manageable. Our county just declared a state of emergency today. We don't have any confirmed cases yet, but it really is just a matter of time if things keep going the way they have been.

Here in my place, we also have enhanced community quarantine. It's a good thing that we have already stocked enough food. I think a lot of places in the world have are experiencing quarantine.

We can still go out for the essentials or take our dogs for a walk, but otherwise yes we are on lockdown!
