Bodyweight exercises have always been great for helping you achieve fitness goals.
I've also been doing stretches! I've always wanted to be able to do the splits all the way, so hopefully this will be my time to shine lol.
I'm thinking of using youtube to:
-do yoga
-pilates
-stretch

What I love to see. Finding a positive in the face of an uncomfortable situation. My wife and I are using the time we would have gone to stores to shop, or visit with friends walking hiking trails. We are not yet under a lock down order being in Oregon. I fully expect that when testing becomes fully availible that will change but for now we are taking advantage of empty trails, parks and just our neighborhood.

That must be lovely, oddly enough. This whole situation has been a way for me to focus on getting my degree finally, as well as work out, and also not feel like I'm missing out on the outside fun, you know?
Oregon is so beautiful. Will be interesting to see what happens in the following weeks.

@esscuzi The beauty is one of the reasons we moved here. There are several others, the biggest being we can afford to live here without having to depend on others to help pay our way. Being retired can be that way, forcing choices on us. Our kids and grandkids are all in Sacramento. So they are learning to deal with the lockdown first hand. My son in Boston, may very well already be infected with the virus, or at least that is what the doctors told him. He is in self-isolation taking meds and watching his temp and the oxygen content of his blood, There are certain numbers he has to watch for. If he reaches any of them, he will have to be in the hospital post-haste. He is young and strong and I expect he will pull through, but there are no guarantees. Even young people are getting hit hard with this virus.
By all means finish that degree, whatever it takes. Getting one changed my world so much I cannot emphasise hard enough how important a step it is. Good luck to you.

@cperry2 I briefly tried to move to Oregon. I checked out the beaches and the nature near Portland. it was beautiful! I just didn't find work, and missed my family, so I moved back to California.
Your kids will totally be fine! I have friends in Boston, and another also near Seattle, they are sent home to work, thankfully. A month ago, who would have eveeer guessed something like this to ever happen!? lol
And thank you! I only realized recently just how many doors will open by having a degree. I was in denial for a while, honestly...
Thank you so much, and I wish you the best ~
