It Took A Pandemic
It took a Pandemic
To bring us together
While pulling
Us apart.
It took a Pandemic
For us to take a moment
And breathe in
The fresh air.
It took a Pandemic
To make us realize
What really matters.
It took a Pandemic
To make us look
To goodness.
It took a Pandemic
To shift our focus
And appreciate
The little things
We took for granted
Like a breath
Of fresh air.
It took a Pandemic
To make us realize
We truly do
Need one another.
