How is everyone in your isolated world today? Are you keeping busy? Are you binge-watching your favorite shows? Are you getting creative to stay busy? Do you have a pet to help with the boredom? I just talked to my son. He can't have visitors either, so I won't be doing laundry at his place until this is over. I'm certain the laundromats are closed. That leaves me with the second-floor laundry here and the steep stairs or washing by hand. Looks like I'll be washing by hand. If I wash what I wear daily, I should keep a handle on the laundry situation. It's a good thing I brought my laundry soap home with me on Tuesday. That's the current situation here. Yesterday turned out to be a good day for exercise. I finished off the corned beef and veggies, so the huge amount of sodium per day is now history. Though I don't look like I swelled from the extra sodium, it showed on the scale. I'm seeing a number I never wanted to see again. I need to get rid of that before Tuesday. Here is what I ate yesterday and the numbers. Breakfast - 1 Banana, 1 Serving Apple Slices, 2 Servings Almond Butter Calories: 550 Sugar: 27 Carbs: 55 Protein: 15.1 Sodium: 1 Fat: 34.3 Lunch - Corned Beef Calories: 358 Sugar: 9.95 Carbs: 42.4 Protein: 17.2 Sodium: 1270.1 Fat: 14.1 Supper - 1 Potato, 1 Banana Calories: 200 Sugar: 13 Carbs: 49 Protein: 4.1 Sodium: 1 Fat: .3 Snack - 1 Chocolate Bar Calories: 120 Sugar: 8 Carbs: 20 Protein: 2 Sodium: 30 Fat: 4 Total Stats: Calories: 1228 Sugar: 57.95 Carbs: 166.4 Protein: 38.4 Sodium: 1302.1 Fat: 52.7 Calories burned: Arm Curls - 15 minutes - 5-pound dumbbells - 89 Steps - 6632/2.51 Mile - 393 Total calories burned - 482 Total calories: 746 That was my day yesterday and this morning. How did you do for food and exercise? Thanks for reading. Image courtesy of Pixabay.

Laundromats are open in California because they are considered a necessity. Makes sense because not everyone has access to washers and having clean clothes is a preventative means against the virus. We are supposed to remove and wash clothes we wear upon returning from outside.

I just checked and it is open. Good to know it's classified as a necessity.

Sorry the number wasn't what you wanted. And that you have to do laundry by hand. Mine wasn't too bad yesterday.

I found out the laundromats are open and went to the bank for quarters. Thanks. I really hope I see that number go back down in the next couple of days. I have a hospital appointment Tuesday morning and I want to give them the lower number if possible.

@Courtlynn I don't use them often. My daughter had a washer and dryer, and when they remodeled their laundry room, I started going to my son. My daughter is now in Texas, so that isn't an option anymore, and my son is in the same boat I am, no visitors allowed where he lives. So, my only option is the laundromat.

I am sure that it will go away fast (extra) on your scale. I can only walk a little at a time (basement), trying to improve.

I see that you said your laundromat is open so that's a good thing. Otherwise washing by hand is always an option I've been trying to keep busy. I have music playing and trying to keep my day as close to routine as possible.

It's good to keep as close to your routine as you can. I'm trying to do the same. I really miss the pool. Yes, and now I have the quarters so I can get my laundry done this coming week.

Actually your right! Since we are under "virus arrest" now I am binge watching a couple of programs. With all this free time I'll also be able to spring clean my home into spotless shape

You can only do so much cleaning. I'm sure it will pass the white glove treatment.

All I can say is if you are bored, it's your own fault. Four grandkids will keep you hopping and the pets will too. Enjoy your time with the grandkids.

Luckily I wash at my grandparents, unless they tell us to stop coming by....if so we have a laundry room at the complex here. I think your numbers look good again, and the sodium is lower than the previous day

I made certain I didn't eat anything high sodium so I could keep the number down. That's good you can wash at your grandparent's home or your complex.

@just4him Well that is good to do, since you are watching the sodium number. And yes it is....until my grandpa tells us not to come by.

A person can retain fluids, but not have obvious swelling in their limbs. We never buy corned-beef, it has been brine soaked. Jay doesn't care for it, so no big deal. Today, I'm not sure what to fix for supper. Your numbers are really good, plus your sodium isn't too high
