Meal Planning for the Week - March 23 - 27

Since it is Sunday evening here (well almost Monday morning) it is time to start planning for what I am going to have to eat during the week. This past week I did not do good at all. I had too many carb days, and didn't stick to my diet. This week I need to get back on track. I was able to find 1 dozen of eggs at the convenience store, so I have at least enough eggs for 2 weeks if I just stick to 1 a day for now. I also got some egg whites so I should make some Chaffles this week. 1 - Eggs and sausage and turkey bacon 2. Chaffles - either sweet, or savory so I can use them as bread 3. Keto Chow shakes 4. Pizza - either using a tortilla, or I can make a chaffle as the crust 5. Tuna (with mayo & no sugar added ketchup) 6. Salmon 7. I have a few "mug cakes" that I bought, so might try those. Not sure what else to have....might add a meal with ground beef; I didn't end up doing that last week. Also could have steak or pork chops. This week I hope to get back to working out. I never went to a gym to work out before anyways, so no need to slack with this going on. I can find plenty of Tae-bo workouts on YouTube if I get bored of the ones I have on DVD. What do you all plan to have this week? Do you work out? If you went to a gym, is there things you will do at home instead?

I am mostly here on MyLot and I have been busy getting all the essentials we need for the lockdown. I am also some work to submit at the office. And also taking food that strengthen the immune system.

What's a mug cake? I hope you stick to your meal plan. I usually have soup or something like that. Laying low for the time being to stay healthy. Have a great Monday.

It's a cake that you can make in the microwave in 1 minute or so....and it's a small amount so also helps on portion control, lol. Soup is good...hope you will enjoy those meals. And that is good...hope that you had a good Monday

Your plan looks good. I hope you can stay on track. I don't meal plan, but everything I have is food on my plan. I have 5-pound barbells and added arm curls to my steps.

@MommyOfEli2013 Thank you. I joined an exercise class many years ago through the church I attended at the time and got the weights then. I also have some stretch ropes. I might do something with those too, but for now, it's walking and weights. I hope you're keeping to your plan.

I will do my best, only thing that I really have to worry about is eggs; so just can't do much baking. Otherwise should be able to stick to it. Meal planning is not always a needed thing....but that is good you know everything you have is on your plan. And that is great that you have the 5 pound weights, and added those to your steps

I will continue with my exercise schedule though my body is aching. I also challenge myself to learn to cook 30 recipes, so far 3/30.
