#20Resolutions for 2020 - Resolution Number Nine

A pretty easy project, by itself

Another painting project! This is the back door that is next to the triple window in the living room. Fortunately, as this one is not blocked off by a bunch of furniture, it will probably be fairly easy to finish. That said, I kind of wanted to do the two together. The door frame has its first coat; just needs caulking, sanding, a second coat, and to remove the masking tape. I like this door because it has internal mini-blinds, sandwiched between two panes of glass in the door (they are controlled by the sliders that you can see on top and at the side of the door). The cats can't mess up these blinds if they get excited about something outside!

Don't leave the masking tape there for too long or it might pull off whatever it's attached to - or less leave bits of itself behind.

I'm worried about that, but fortunately this kind of painter's tape seems very good about not doing that too badly.

@AliCanary That's good. Eucalyptus oil should take off any residue stickiness.

I love internal blinds. We have one set of blinds that the dogs destroyed when someone was on the back deck painting the house. They've needed to be replaced for about 10 years now. :-( You can do this, Ali!

Yes, animals can be a big enemy of blinds! Thank you for your faith in me :)
