Strawberry milkshake to end my lunch.

I am still eating leftovers and veggies that I´ll have to throw away if I don´t eat them.
So, today I froze the drumsticks in mushroom sauce I had and decided to eat one of them for lunch. But it was not to be.
I then found the half potato and potatoes last less. So I cut it up, added mayo (I still have it) and some green olives in brine stuffed with red pepper.
It was delicious, but I was still hungry. So I got out some strawberries from the freezer and made a strawberry milkshake.
I am worried about the meager amount of food my daughter will have in the mountains. I wrote a post about a mail she sent.
How are you doing in this quarantine day?

She has blackberries (for now) and nuts from some millennial pine trees. Natives here, in other historical times, could live with that. But my family goes to a supermarket when they want food And we are nearing winter season so there´s no produce to be grown. Specially by people who have never grown a thing. I´m pissed and worried. Sorry for my words.

@JohnRoberts It seems one of them has a couple of cows. As for chicken, nobody thought about a coop so high in the mountains. It will be too cold.

@LindaOHio Because she will stay in the mountains during the winter. It is dangerous.

Thanks God My Sister works at Meals on Wheels so she gets meals from there but she also has a grocery store across the street from her jobs so she picks up the odds and ends that she needs from there.

I´m glad you are doing well. It seems that we are learning to use what we have in a better way now.
