Many beaches are close or will be close for now.

I am sorry, but it is necessary, everything is closed here, included the parks, the tennis courts, the museums... everything.

We still have a few places we can access the beaches. They are not well known so the tourists don't know how to find them. For now these are still open. The State of Oregon has warned us though. If they see that we are abusing this and not maintaining safe distances, they will close all beaches. That would be very sad. I live close enough that I can hear the surf even if they do close it though. All stretches of beach on Oregon belong to the State Parks. They did this back in the 1970's to ensure everyone could get access. There are no private beaches in Oregon.

It is sad that beaches are closing.

Our beaches were closed about 2 weeks ago and last week the hotels and bars were closed as were movie theatres and Performing Arts centers and restaurants can only serve to go or deliver. Alfredo I know you can get bored but don't get out of your car anywhere!!

Everything is closed here too and it's doubtful any of the beaches near me will be open.

The beaches in Florida and California have been ridiculously crowded, so I hope people will finally exercise caution. I mean, a few people taking a leisurely walk is one thing, but hordes out and about are ridiculous in those cases.

thats terrible but its like that every where, we can just hope that it goes away soon. i really wanted to go to the beaches this summer.

When the heat wave will break in, many people will want to go swimming. I wonder if they can stop people doing that.

I know that the trails in the conversation areas are closed to allow for social distancing, and I am sure that this is for the same reason. I hope that this passes is soon.

Most of us are having a difficult time here. I heard over the news that over 1/3 of title population are staying inside their houses.

Staying indoors for too long will drive everyone crazy.
