Today the whole world and the whole human civilisation is at stake. If China would have acted with responsibility we would not have had such a situation. Only because one Nation's ignorance in reporting about the virus early and because of vested interests it tried hiding the deadly virus from the entire world we are paying a huge price. Jobs are lost, the economies are at stake everything seems to be devasted only because of a virus which originated in some country and the country tried hiding the virus.

Considering that we have all these air pollution laws all over the world and yet China is the largest producer of air pollution, I think it’s safe to say that they (“they” being the government/leaders) don’t really care about anyone else in the world....starting with the people in the country.

@JohnRoberts The current establishment in China doesn't believe in Global Cooperation.

Life being cheap has been a Chinese mentality going back centuries. It is not new. The old emperors thought nothing of slaughtering the lower classes. Girl babies tossed in the river. They have never had a good reputation for valuing human life in their class system.

Some will probably disagree with you. But I think it was VERY CLEAR from the beginning that we could not trust any information coming out of China on this, and as a result I think we HAVE this result. A lot more could have been done sooner had China done the right thing from the start.

The world is struggling to fight this deadly virus. We can only hope that the things returns to normal as soon as possible

@kanuck1 The way you feel most of us feel the same. We have been kept in dark about the reality. China has undoubtedly suppressed information and the whole world is paying a big price for that

@concept001 While that is a good hope, I think that this situation has changed the world and it will never get back to normal again. It might look that things will go back to normal but there is a lot more going on then meets the eye.
I could be wrong but I have a bad feeling that something really sinister is going on.

The government of China is responsible for this and should be held accountable in a world trial. And greater worldwide effort needs to be taken against governments creating these deadly viruses in their labs.
