Happy Thursday Everyone!
Have you lost track of what day it is? I had to think about the day this morning and wondered if anyone else was having trouble keeping track. I have to admit that I have trouble during a regular week without the stress of being home during a crisis. From what I'm seeing on social media and on television it seems more common now with everyone staying home.
I usually enjoy my first cup of coffee and watch morning television shows. I've noticed that some are televising now remotely and it's really interesting. No more production staff, hair or make-up. It's really nice to see the people who I enjoy watching in a totally different setting and more natural.
I've been watching more television lately even though I've earmarked part of my day for reading.
I'm trying not to be lazy but I have to admit it's hard. Once I'm settled on the couch and the tv is on I'm pretty much sucked in. Netflix has so many binge-worthy shows that it's hard to turn off the tv at times.
The latest show I've heard everyone talking about is Tiger King but I haven't watched it yet.
Today I'm going to try to get in more steps and stay off the couch as much as possible.
Have you become a couch potato lately?
(stay safe and well my friends )

You are in a rural area and have greater freedom. The best place to be is in a small town or remote area.

@JohnRoberts yes but literally anyone who is stuck at home can go get out and enjoy the fresh air

No, I’m an adjustable bed potato.
Actually, although I am typing this from my bed at the moment, I’ve been going out daily. Either ordering take-out from a favorite restaurant or taking a walk around the neighborhood (carrying my hiking stick, which will ensure “social distancing”).
One of my best friends called yesterday while I was walking, so it was like I was taking a walk with her. And, she said something that’s pretty correct: for anti-social, retired people, this isn’t much of an adjustment.

I'm sure many are watching more TV but sometimes your options are limited. I'm thinking, too, of people in tiny apartments who normally don't spend a lot of time there. Hope you have a good day.

I have been a bed potato ever since 2016 with the bout I had of some kind of virus caught from my oldest son in AZ when I was there. so not much different in my life except for the worry that with this virus there would be no hope for my recovery

Since we moved to another office for work and I have further to walk from the parking garage to the office and across to the elevators I am actually logging more steps. That IS a good thing. Today I logged 4km's, which is like 5249.34383 steps. Yet I do not feel tired.

I have to look at my phone each morning to see what day it is. Ah...... the joys of not having to work.
Not at all.
I read the news online before I go for my morning exercise and only watch TV at night with my hubs.
We are way behind and are watching YOU. I will check out Tiger King.
I read and myLotted off and on on the lanai most of the day.
I can’t believe I will have to prepare dinner soon!

It will be a rude awakening to newly created couch potatoes when the time comes to go back to work.

I was flipping through the channels last night and saw that Fallon was filming from home.
