Drat!
I thought I had my husband under control, but nope!
He saw this darn boat go by and started yapping about how he really wants a boat again.
My throat is raw again from explaining why it will never happen.
I decided to type up a list for ALL the reasons why we shouldn’t get a boat. I’m printing extra copies out this very minute.
He has too much time on his hands these days. Big sigh!

Tell him to just go rent a boat when he wants to go out, fast easy and no extra costs.

I still think you should let him get a boat. I really think you would enjoy it, however, paying to store it for six months could get expensive..where could you cut the budget?

@DianneN Get a competent friend to take you out when you want to go.

@snowy22315 That’s what we have been doing, but now it’s an issue with the virus.

Husbands are difficult if they have to be inside all day. Give him a difficult task that he does not like

@DianneN You have got him there! But how about a trade? His boat for a month of your shopping?

Let him rent one and you do not have the extra cost of keeping a boat. My friend says the boat insurance alone is expensive and the cost of keeping it up and towing it to the water and storing it. Repairs when something goes wrong.
You have to get a license to drive the boat to and take a safety class here.

Sometimes it gets hard for all of us to sit and understand that we can't do this at present

I know this all too well only my fiance doesn't boat. This is more with his DVD movies and comic books. I tell him he doesn't need more because he has such a large collection but he never listens to me.

@DianneN Right?! We just moved to a new apartment in December and my fiance has yet to unpack all his DVDs, video games, and comic books. I told him I'm just going to start unpacking all his stuff because it's cluttering the place up.
