Board games anyone?

Over the years I have been drawn to board games and not only playing them but collecting them. Last year I decided it was time to let go of most of them and donated them to a homeless shelter. I did that because there didn't seem to be any time to play board games and with the kids all grown up and on their own, who do you play with? I have held on to some of my special games and I plan to entice my husband to play during these days of isolation.
Do you like or still play board games?

I like board games here and there. Hey I used to have that "therapy" game.

Sadly I gave the Therapy one away, I may have needed it now.

I am so glad I read your post! It just made me remember I have a closet full of board games in the guest bedroom that I had forgotten all about! The kids and I have been working on a puzzle the past few days, and although we love doing puzzles, we will need a change of scenery every now and then. I can pull the board games out of the closet and play those with the kids. Now I'm so glad I never got rid of them all!

I feel the same way - glad I didn't give away all my board games. It's a good time to dust off those board games.

@Freelanzer The only sad part, dusting off the old board games will mean I'll have to actually face my family and talk to them. After more than a week in quarantine, I knew that inevitable day was coming! LOL

Yeah, but since Ally likes to run we go outside and she runs while I pretend to chase her @Freelanzer ..... if I'd run I'd fall and scratch my nose.

O too bad. I guess you have to find another game partner.

Yes, I played them as a child and with my children. Our favorite was Monopoly. But we played others, like "Life", "Battleship" , "Scrabble".

I haven't played board games in quite a while. I do have jig saw puzzles and I just completed one so will probably do another. I have computer chess and of course Netflix series to watch. But it is quite a disruption with stores closed and being confined.

It's no fun being confined to your home.I have also been working on some 1,000 piece puzzles which I do regularly anyway.
