Good evening friends
I've been busy all day. I've been working with computers all day, and now I'm sitting here trying to clear notifications.
The number of infected and dead is increasing, but my job today has distracted me from ugly thoughts.
How do you deal with panic related to the virus?

You are right, we now need prayers to get through as soon as possible.

I don't feel panic at all. It is in my head, I cannot help that, but I don't feel fear or anything similar to that.

@Nevena83 It is. Being panicked weakens the immune system and that is not what I want.

@rappeter13 You're right, but I think we're all slowly starting to get scared.

I am also not distracted from my work even when I am monitoring the statistics of the corona virus. Our contamination keeps on increasing and the deaths slightly rise. But my focus is on the work that I am doing.

@Nevena83 in your work, you have to travel though and that is another risk to take.

I am more panicked about my upcoming dentist appointment than the virus at this point honestly, but if it delays or stops my son from coming home..I will be sad.

@Nevena83 Yes, at the moment..but they are not doing elective procedures. He has been in Brazil the last several months and was going to come home in June, now he is concerned about the virus.... They don't have a lot of it there apparently, but not sure how many have been tested.

The panic buying is just stupid. I find it really stupid.
Being precautions is different from being in panic.

@Nevena83 That's why all the people need to know is how to not get the virus. The news can be overwhelming and they should stop reading them if they're feeling anxious. The only way to stop the virus is to have the knowledge on how to stay away from it.
Stay at home. Read a book, keep calm. The more anxious you are, the more you are at risk of getting the virus.

I absolutely agree with you, but a lot of people start to feel fearful about all the news we get.

@toniganzon Yes, you are right, we need information, but only the way to preserve it.

Is your job only here at mylot or you still have other jobs online? I read a lot so that I could be updated to the current situation. Usually, it was in social media that I read updates. But I would probably spend less time in social media and will just need to watch the news at TV. I need to be spend less time at social media so that I could be more productive.

@Nevena83 good for you then. At least, you focus all your efforts into one website. And it's also a good thing that you don't have a social media account. You're free from distraction.

@allenjames Yes, I'm trying my best here. You're right. I have never been interested in social networks.

@florelway Yes, we should all do it, but I don't think many people still take it seriously.

Well I have to stay home and hope for the best. I will probably spend more time here because I can't be near my brother or husband. (Alone Again)

@Nevena83 They can't live with me. They have to be in the trailer. They have underlying conditions and I have fevers.

I am a stay at home mom . . . so I am continuing with my everyday duties except more because all the family is at home all day now. Besides extra cooking and cleaning, and making sure my kids get their schoolwork done, I'm looking ahead and planning now . . . this is what keeps me going (staying productive rather than freaking out).
