Roasting is one of the best ways to bring out the delicious nutty flavors in brussel sprouts and it is so easy.
All you need to do is cut them in half, add olive oil and a little salt. Spread them on a sheet tray, and leave them in a 400 degree oven for about 30-40 minutes.
These are so good, I don't need anything else with them. If I had a fresh tomato that would be good. So I will just eat brussel sprouts for dinner. I toasted o=some bread as well. A very healthy dinner. If you like brussel sprouts of course.
Any plans for dinner out there anyone?

I never used to like brussel sprouts because my mom would boil them and they would taste icky. Then I tried some roasted brussel sprouts that my fiance's mom made using the same method with the olive oil and salt. I fell in love! Roasted vegetables taste SO MUCH BETTER!

We had roasted Brussels as well this evening. I made spaghetti for my pasta eating daughter and the other daughter and I slathered the pasta sauce on our Brussels. Yummy!

@CarolDM Roasted veggies of some sort are a regular feature of supper here during the cooler months. I can't believe it took me 25 years to figure out the most effective way to get my family to eat veggies!
