But, They Could Be!

I am sitting here looking at the ads to the right of this where I'm typing. Beautiful shoes ... just my style ... in the most awesome colors.
I look at them like ... they are strange ... like that's the last thing on my mind now. Why would I want a pair of pretty shoes NOW?
I know people shop when they get nervous, upset ... so, I'm sure that's why the ads aimed at us. I won't be one who shops like that ... not at this time. Our money would be for food if, when we can find it ... when we do decide to go back out.
I watched on the news this evening ... be careful when you come home from shopping, etc. They showed how coronavirus can be tracked into your home. Gracious ...
I have a feeling all the canned chickpeas, and red beans, black beans in one of our cupboards ... may begin to taste delicious. Anyone have any good ideas on how to make them taste good? Not any elaborate recipes because ... I don't have many spices, onions, potatoes at this time.
We have bags of dried beans, lentils, rice. I was thinking like we all do ... at least we have food of some sort ... that's protein. I'm so thankful I had all that put up for 'when I need them'. Now ... there's a good possibility we might have to eat those things. I'm grateful. Not my favorite things ... but, they could be!

I didn't think really about the shoes until I saw whatever they put on the soles showed up on the floor when a light was on it.

Since last October when my daughter moved out, owing me money and giving me no notice so that I could move money has been very tight. I have to pay higher rent and utilities. Now with the Coronavirus and me having medical issues I am having to be buy more expensive food and stuff I don't even need so I can be elligible for delivery and a delivery fee. So I understand why you cannot buy the shoes.

In a way you sound like me. My home burned down in October 2017 and I lost everything I owned. I still can't afford to buy shoes let alone anything else. I live in tee shirts and jeans from Goodwill. I was lucky and able to live with my boyfriend. But my medical costs eat me alive...I totally understand where you're coming from. I no longer look at clothes or shoes or any other beautiful item and even think of the day that I might be able to afford them again. I don't even dare to dream of them....I've even given up dreaming about having my own home again.
I wish with all my heart that I could reach out and help you financially. That I could go to where you are and help you find a cheaper place to live and get you moved into the place. The first thing I would do is wrap you in a huge hug (you sound like you really need one) and we would work on things from there. All I can do right now is send you virtual hugs and wish you all the best.

@BearArtistLady You touched my very Heart. We are doing okay now. We live on a limited income also, but we manage. Thank you so much for your hugs, I send them right back to you Vice versa .. I would do the same for you if I could. I'm honored to meet another good person here to be friends with. Gloria

My husband was just saying the other day how he wondered if the Coronavirus could be tracked into the house by shoes. He also thought about it getting on clothes.

From all I understand it is a possibility for sure. There are so many ways and I notice we take precautions but, forget one thing somewhere along the line.

It is so easy to forget even one tiny thing when trying to take precautions.
