Another nest of eggs in the front yard. I was out walking around in the yard a few days ago. I noticed a bird fly out of my miniature spruce tree.
Of course I had to investigate. I had my phone in my pocket. I slowly walked over to the tree, peeked in and there it was. A nest of eggs. The first day there was one, then two, and now three eggs. One is laid every day. I snapped a few photos and then got out quickly.
It took a little while to figure out what bird laid the eggs. They are a different color I have never seen before. After researching I discovered they are... Thrasher eggs.
This is the nest I have been watching outside the garage window on the stool!
There are eight types of thrashers in North America. The Brown Thrasher is the most common type. I will write more about the bird later. Had to share the new nest of eggs with you.

They looked beautiful. How many could they lay per nesting season?

there has to be a sign above your house only visible to the birds "come here, it is wonderful!"
