I went to Safeway today to get some Scotch, vegetables, and a couple of other things. To my surprise, I spied a few rolls of paper towel there. A 90-year-old lady with a walker was eyeing the same paper towel, but I was able to drive her into the ground with a football tackle learned in my younger days. Being a gentleman, I asked if she was OK, and she assured me that she was. I uprighted her walker, put some paper towel in her cart, and sent her toddling off. So now, I have enough paper towel to last me for several weeks. Did you do any shopping today?

Went to Walmart this morning to get doughnuts, and stuff to take down tot he creek. Then went to Dollar General after we got done at the creek to get popcorn, and stuff to make homemade pizzas.

@TheHorse Yeah, Walmart was better stocked today then it has been in the last couple of weeks. They had meat and milk. The only thing they didnt have were eggs. DG was well stocked, but they usually are.

We CANNOT go shopping, nor today, or the whole week, I hope to get "out of prison" next Monday. I want some fresh meat, but I want to choose myself, those volunteers are nice guys, but they are not very good at shopping.

@TheHorse I do without everything fresh, I hope that soon we will be allowed to go shopping, I would love to choose something for my Easter lunch. Well, I do not want to complain, at least we are healthy and we should be happy to have food, hoping it will last.

Shopping for anything but dire needs is frowned on in my area. I don't plan to do that for a good week- unless one of the fur kids runs low then I'll be out and about.

It was good she was alright and you got for her some paper towels. Not today for shopping. I was hoping to stay home till coming Friday but might go to neighborhood store Marukai Wholesale Mart for some facial tissue soon, maybe tomorrow. Walgreens got Arm and Hammer detergent in sale buy one get one, so I'm really debating in going shopping tomorrow.

I did actually, made a groc run, spent 2x what I wanted because what I wanted was out of stock, so I had to make do. So im over budget on last paycheck, but whatever, it is what it is

We still can't find any paper towels in my area! Since we live in our van, paper towels is what we use for everything. But we did manage to find the smallest 4 pack of tp for .58 at Walmart... only one per person. But I scored on the adult wipes, took the last 2 they had and was able to get my hands on a three pack of baby wipes. For now, the wipes will have to do. P.S.- The .58 tp lasted me and hubby 2 days, Thanks for the laugh!
