I’ll split this in two so I can use more photos.
In 2013, we had a marvellous tour on the Queen Mary 2. This is a very sumptuous ship with beautiful furnishings and décor. The theatre had plush red seating. Some of the lower rows of the theatre had small tables between two chairs. Bar staff would bring whatever drinks you wanted during the shows.
There was at least one film each day, usually shown at two different times. Various entertainers would get on at one port and get off at the next. They might do a big evening performance and a different afternoon performance. These were invariably very entertaining. There was a magician performing one evening and a musician who played a South American traditional instrument that looked like a small harp. I can't remember the country of origin.
We couldn't have afforded to go to so many wonderful concerts in our normal lives but, of course, on board ship, it was all included in the price.

Being the guy I am, when I saw your photo my eyes instantly went to the photo in the middle. I thought the girl with the violin didn't have a top on! haha
One cruise I was on had a magician performing in the main theater. On the stage was a full-size airplane, and his final act was to make the plane disappear! To this day I have no idea how he did it.
Definitely some great shows on cruise ships.

That sounds like a lovely time. And I wondered how that worked out for the performers.

We saw a comedian on the last cruise we took as well as some other lounge acts. He was good.

I believe that the Queen Mary 2 is the largest ship ever to cross the Panama Canal before the expansion project began.

@Deepizzaguy It would have been very interesting watching or learning about the various ships.

@JudyEv When I was living in the former Canal Zone in Panama. I always wanted to know trivia facts about the ships that went through that waterway.

That sounds like a great cruise on a very classy ship.

We had a lovely time. We're not likely to be able to do it again but it was nice to do it once.
