E-gold has a PIN, so I would:
- Contact the e-mail provider to check if someone else logged into your e-mail account.
- If nobody but you did log, then that PIN stuff does/did not work. You should claim your money back from e-gold.
- If someone did log, then he able to log into e-gold AND your e-mail. Really bad...

So sorry to hear this. Egold may be the oldest online payment processor, but they also have the reputation of being hacked the most. I have number of friends who lost money the moment it is deposited. However, I think a lot has to do with how your secure your account and your computer. Hackers are every where. They will strike when you least expect it.

it was like ,i logged into my account and the money was there i say it , then i went to check my statement and when i came back to check the balance it was gone all gone leaving only a balance of $ 0.13 cents , it said i paid DIN i connected e-gold but no reply from them..

I never knew that even sites like e-gold could be stolen of money. This is chopcking. I think the money lost can never be claimed as it is in their terms that they will not reverse any transactions. I really feel very sorry for you!!

you claim you home pc is secure but it is not true! if secure you didn't lose your money in e-gold! How you can tell your pc ic is secure? Your PC is very unsecure! you have a malware and/or you use your keyboard to type your passphrase. Disabling the security features was not a good thing! You have lose your money and never you'll see it beck! set better the security of your e-gold account, enable che I.P. address change alert and modify your passphrase. Type only by e-gold virtual keyboard and never by your!

well i am sorry for you dear, but e-gold can't be back once send, its a boon and curse also like every other technology, boon like you can't be chargedback and curse that if you lose you can't get back

my home pc is very secured this happened from my work place pc ,i feel my work place server has been hacked because on all our 10 pc's we found something hell becomeing this days..

Annihilus made a perfect summa of the Egold problems so I can't post more but I have to say that you can try to ask Egold to check the PIN cos if you IP changed they send you a special PIN (15 minutes time to use it).

Happen to me too. Called American express filed complaint and got my money back. I'm sure denver gold not happy, but to bad. Egold needs Better security or call it a Scam.
