21 Days - Is There a Scientific Base ? / myLot

We are under a 21 day lockdown imposition. Some say it's too short, others feel it's too long. The honorable prime minister did not give any reason for the particular number of days. Was it for any scientific reason or was it just another religious text? In reiki, there is a significance of 21 days. But it must not be anything to do with it, I'm sure. PM Modi was never a reiki enthusiast. One thing is sure, with lockdown crowding and mixing of people has definitely decreased. Thus, it has decreased the chance of being infected with the virus. How many days is it for you in your country?

I think ours started on the 23rd of March and goes to the 24th of April.

It's a fortnight quarantine if you have symptoms or have associated with people with symptoms. Maybe three weeks is a bit safer.

I too believe it is safer to have three weeks quarantine than two weeks.

What a quaint lock! Is it real or just a photo? The previous cases are suggesting that the longest incubation period of the novel coronavirus is 21 days, even reaches 24 days in some rare exceptions. So there is a scientific basis for that.
