I finished reading Wounded by Laurell K Hamilton. It is a novella of the Anita Blake book series. It comes between Dead Ice and Crimson Death. This novella is actually an outtake of the book Dead Ice. In the book Dead Ice, Anita asks her former teacher of raising the dead on a case about zombies. Manny's daughter Connie is engaged to married. Connie, her fiance, and her little brother get kidnapped by a scary guy. Connie's brother gets shot in the stomach. In Wounded, Connie gets married and Anita and her two boyfriends attend the wedding. At the reception, Micah talks to Connie's brother. Micah later on tells Anita and Tomas' other sister that Tomas is hurting mentally and needs help. So Anita and her two boyfriends talk to Tomas about doing the PT he needs and hitting the gym will really help him become a survivor and not a victim. I did like this novella. Next I'm reading Kiss the Dead by Laurell K Hamilton. It is the twenty-first book of the Anita Blake book series.
