What are your favorite holiday traditions?

My favorite is that my husband and I collect Christmas tree ornaments on all the vacations and trips we take and then our tree is covered with all these fun special memories... no store bought ornaments on our tree! I also love how the whole family gets together on Christmas eve and we read the Christmas story from the bible and drink cocoa.

We have alot of traditions. I am from a large family and traditons have been passed down from generation to generation. On Christmas Eve, we go to my husbands family's home. On Christmas morning, we have our Christmas at home. We always prepare breakfast as a family and it is mandatory that everyone eat before we open any gifts. Then we drive 1 1/2 hours to my family's home. All 6 of us kids and our familys are always there. No certain time is set but we all seem to be there at the same time. Luke 2 is read at all 3 Christmas gatherings.
