We are having a lot of snow today and it actually looks like Christmas morning. Seems like the birds love it as dozens of them have descended on my backyard. There are fights at and under the bird feeders but it is a lovely sight. There are more birds in the yard today than on a sunny day. I just don't know why. How is the weather in your area?

It is raining here. No snow coming down. I can't say I miss it. I'm hopping that we a few days of sun.

I really love it when the birds all flock in. We don't put up feeders but they love the bird baths.

The irds are around throughout winter as we also have bird houses which they live in. But at times we do get a sort of invasion.

Look at that robin. How nice. I have them making nests in my yard. Sunshine today in the 50s.

The robins are very busy this year, normally I only see a couple now they are plentiful.

after two days of snow the sun came out and it is still here today. The snow is almost all melted.

Maybe they think the food supply is going to dwindle with all the snow, and so they are eager to eat up whatever you have in the feeder.

I think that is what it is, they were actually eating through the snow covered feeder an off the ground as well

Looks like you had a lot of hungry birds trying to stock up on seeds with the "foul" weather you had today. Time to refill the feeder
