Cars entering our village is sprayed with a liquid sanitizer on the wheels. Obviously it is to cleanse the tires for the potential virus. But when I went out of the village at 5:30 pm, I have noticed that the spray tent was closed. The security guard said that the spraying is up to 5 pm only. Whaat? Maybe the virus is already asleep by 5 pm. Okay, I understand, waheehee.

@DianneN seriously, I really find it a waste of time and effort to spray the tires. They do that in livestock farms like piggery and poultry.

What they are doing is not consistent at all. I am just hoping that the virus is inactive when it's 5pm. . Anyway in a more serious thought, I am just hoping that government will find the right way to control this pandemic and that all people would cooperate/ They can't do it alone nor us. We must all cooperate and help in our little ways.

@Alexandoy . Well it's not easy. Toxic days and more worries. Only wish that one day we wake up and it's all gone. Stay safe in your end.

@chavezrmc thank you, that's also my wish that one day we would be back to the usual normal, traffic, pollution, etc. I miss those days.

I don't know if that spray is part of the lockdown rules or just a policy of our village.

Do you have a curfew so cars aren't out after 5 pm?

There is a curfew from 8 pm to 5 am but cars are exempted. The curfew is only for people walking in the streets.

@Alexandoy
That is a good idea and makes sense to me. Not a good idea to close it.

@Hannihar maybe that is their idea but I think it is just about the shift of the security guards who conduct the spraying.

@Alexandoy
I guess they are saying do not go out in your car after 5 pm or before 9 am.

That is what I saw in China and other countries. But here, I don't think we have the resources to do that.

@Moon24 we do not know if that spray can kill the virus on the tires of the car.

@Nakitakona in all seriousness, it is really nonsense to me because it is like putting a security guard against thieves but after a short period there is no more guard.

But the spraying should be proper. The tires are okay but how about the body of the car?

This morning at 8:45 am, I pass by the village gate. The guard said the spraying starts at 9 am.
