How about a little disco to cure those quarantine blues? The "Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack" is one of the best-selling albums in history and the biggest selling soundtrack of all time. Released in 1977, it was certified 16x Platinum in the United States; and 54 million copies were sold worldwide.

One of the good things about tagging the posts here is that you can discover old ones you missed. This one I had missed last year in spite of being about the Bee Gees, about some of the Bee Gee´s songs that I know by heart and written by you, one of my friend lotters I try not to miss. So here it is, a late answer. I´m so glad we two also share the love for rhis wonderful music. I have the CD at home

I remember the movie, and some of the songs from the soundtrack. Looking at that list now, I recognize by name 8 of the 17 songs. I imagine if I listened to all 17 songs, I would know about three-fourths of them.

A few years ago I did a series of albums that “everybody” had except me...and this was one of them. I like “Jive Talkin’,” and I enjoy the use of “Stayin’ Alive” in other movies (like Foul Play and Airplane!).

Very good movie! I only liked the songs from the Bee Gees, but that's because disco is not my favorite music.
