What are you having for dinner tonight?

I'm in a grumpy mood. My tummy hurts, no Ph.D. fashion models came to my door and asked me to make love to them today, the corona virus is still out there, my rock gig for tonight was cancelled, and it's an utterly dreary day (though I'm glad it's raining). I think I'm going to have grumpy Andersen's pea soup for dinner tonight. The pea soup should be easy on my stomach, the frowny face (made of beets) should provide a bit of color and texture contrast, and perhaps I'll make it to another day. I got some reading in (Catch and Kill, by Ronan Farrow), I wrote just a bit, and hope to practice some guitar, so maybe the day won't be a total waste. But I'm still on the grumpy side. What are you having (or did you have) for dinner tonight?

I had a plate of roasted potatoes. A light dinner hit the spot. Maybe you will get a knock at the door today.

@TheHorse No, I havenĀ“t dreamed of a delicious breakfast. Maybe because I am not fond of eating breakfast.

@ShyBear88 Eggs and bacon seem to resonate with me right now. I think it's because it hasn't been on my menu for a long time.

@TheHorse Our guacamole has avocados, tomatoes, white onion, cilantro, lime juice, and a touch of salt - that's it. We didn't make a homemade salsa, but we like the spice kick in that.

I had a grumpy day yesterday. My sleep schedule is all out of whack, I'm tired of being stuck inside, I miss my girlfriend, and the frozen pizza I made for dinner last night was absolutely disgusting.

Last night the wife and I had leftovers since we had a ton of a few things AND we bought the farm from Pizza World Friday night. Spent $70 (with tip) on pizza and sides. lol. There is STILL a ton left after last night's leftovers. Pea soup sounds good. Made a bean soup with a ham bone last week and it was delicious. I was going to ask you to help with a song, but you don't have any recording software (I learned). Oh well. You working on anything in that regard?

I wrote a funny Country song based on a friend's experience with a drunken guitarist borrowing his Martin guitar at a bluegrass festival. But I haven't recorded it yet. If you have anything recorded, send it along, I can at least give it a listen and make some comments.

@TheHorse That sounds like it would be a very fun song to listen to. Hope you can record it soon. As for the song I was working on, just popped in a couple of dummy tracks just so I could play around with it and get an idea of what I want to do with it. It's more in my tradition of 'weird.' lol

I cooked some ready made hash brown patties and topped them with a bit of cheddar cheese. We had Progresso tomato basil soup with that. Also a small piece of chocolate cake. I need to make some pea soup or lentil soup or something. My head has been hurting a lot. Allergy response, I think.
