Rainy Sunday

Quarantine Day #...20? 21? I've lost count.
No yard work today, because it's raining.
No walk around the block today, because it's raining.
No playing outside for the little boys today, because it's raining.
The image above is from one of the local weather cams. It is so wet and foggy and grey outside, you can't even see the mountaintop in the photo.
I've gotten very little accomplished today so far. I did go through this week's Imperfect Produce order and discovered they had eggs available again. I managed to add a dozen before they sold out again. I also added a package of bacon and a block of Havarti cheese, and increased the amount of bell peppers. They had tomatoes available again (they were sold out when I last looked), so I added a package of those too.
I need to do some laundry and to contact my company's HR rep for the COVID-19 stuff to see if I will still continue to get paid since I still have some breathing issues (which I'm 75% sure are not related to C19) or if I continue to have unpaid time off. The shortness of breath that I've had for a week hasn't worsened, but it also hasn't improved on its own. I have an inhaler and access to a nebulizer, plus I still have albuterol vials for the nebulizer, so I should be able to manage. I also have some Primatene tablets that I've been taking, and that's helped my lung function.
(For those of you who are concerned -- I do not qualify for C19 testing because my breathing issues are not yet "severe" and I don't have a confirmed exposure to the virus. I did check.)
I suppose it's time to pull out lunch for the kiddos.

Oh so you are the one sending the rain here! We haven't had rain since late February so we will go from a drought to hurricane season and floods!
Plus--another reason for not being able to get tested---you are too young!!

I'm 48. Not terribly young, but not quite a senior citizen either.

They say if have the virus will know because will not be able to taste or smell anything. Why I hate whole thing because it makes you paranoid.

@spiderdust I am not sure, have not heard that part, I would imagine maybe that is why they know people do not have it anymore. Did you hear Pink got it and made a full recovery. She made a statement about it. You should go on Facebook or Twitter and ask her if she can taste anything? I would but she scares me.

@crossbones27 I hadn't heard that Pink got it. I hope her kids are okay!

Yeah, even spicy curries can taste like water. So far, things still have flavor.
Do we know if people get their sense of taste and smell back?

@DesirousDreamer The weather was much better yesterday, so we made the kids play outside.

I love rainy Sundays but that's because they are calming to me. I also love Imperfect Produce. Even though I work in a grocery store I like to use to them reduce waste and leave product at my store for people who need it now. Tomorrow I will pick what they have but if they don't have anything good then I will skip the week again.

I've been using them for the convenience even before the pandemic happened, but I'm very thankful to have them now!

@spiderdust Same! I stopped using them because of cost but started using them again right before the pandemic happened!

I'm glad you checked, and hope you don't have it. Sounds like you don't but close. So be careful

@spiderdust right. Very hard to tell. But your dr would know if you had to get checked.

@Courtlynn Right now, they're only testing people with critical symptoms or who have had a confirmed exposure. There's really not enough tests to test everyone who needs testing.

There are so many people who have had either mild symptoms or have been asymptomatic, so we're all just guessing.
