RIP Kenny Rogers

I grew up in I guess what you could call old country music. I listen to Loretta and Dolly and one of my dad's favorites when I was a kid was Kenny Rogers. I absolutely loved when Dolly and him would preform together. When I heard that he passed, I bawled like a baby. I learned about it over Facebook and a video that Dolly had posted saying good-bye to an old friend. It broke my heart but I was happy to hear that he passed peacefully, at home surrounded by family. He lived an amazing life and will forever be remembered. Dolly will be hosting a special to remember him and I'm looking forward to it even though I know I'll be crying like a baby. RIP to a legend. *picture from google

I never cared for his music, it just wasn't my style but my mom was a big fan of his and had the chance to see him a few times. I know she will be saddened by this news.
