Oy vey.
I woke up this morning to a new message from Stash confirming that I've been credited for the promotional offer, and a notification from the app telling me that I just got $5 to invest.
That's progress, but the promotional offer was for $20.20. 
They've been really responsive to the support thread and $5 is an amount they frequently offer as a bonus, so it's understandable. We'll see how the follow up to this goes.
In slightly better news, I got my first $10 gift card from UpVoice today. It only took them two days to send it to me, which was nice, and it's one of those that can be redeemed for a card from a variety of retailers or a Visa gift card. I like it because it only required me to add the browser extension, and it credits for visits to certain websites like Amazon and Facebook so I don't have to do anything special to earn from it.
