April 8 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Aside from my own stupidity, it's been a very good day.
I'm thankful I got out of the apartment and went to church where Pastor and one of the leaders were passing out small Easter bags. It was good to see and talk to them. I also showed off my weight loss. They could definitely see the change.
I'm thankful I got out to walk this morning. It seems to be taking less time, though when I look at my fitness tracker when I get home, the time is the same, half an hour. I look forward to adding to this walk to get even more steps in as I get used to the walk. Right now, it's the perfect amount of walking.
I'm thankful for the steps I've already achieved. I've met my daily goal. Now, it's time to get the bicep curls for the day.
I'm thankful for the phone call I made this morning to a virtual friend I've had for many years, but never met or talked to before today. It was such a pleasure. I know I'll be talking to her more in the future.
Okay, that's my day. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

Aw. That was so kind of them. Anything good? Lol.
I'm thankful for my 12,000+ steps again. That's 4 days in a row over my 10,000 goal.

@Courtlynn My scale went up too. Not happy about that, but it will come down again.

maybe your body is feeling the time and distance less, as you get used to it.

@just4him my back is cranky. I had to take painkiller to sleep, and now it's still unhappy, cant think of what I might have done to make it so. I will still walk, but I may walk slower.

@Jessicalynnt I'm sure it will be slower. I'm sorry it hurts and hope it starts feeling better soon.

That's all great to hear, as always! I guess that I got 2 workouts in and over 11,000 steps. I know I will be sore tomorrow though. Hoping to see a new low tomorrow, which will be my answer tomorrow if it is

I'm thankful I have the luxury of being safe in this scary situation in human history. It hasn't been easy for everyone.
Your humbleness is really inspiring! Thank you for this post Valerie, it made me cheer up
