Still Quarantined, Sick and Tired of it All

Two more weeks have passed, and thankfully, neither I nor J are sick. However, I think we both have cabin fever really really bad. I managed to wade through an Indian historical drama of the Ramayana which drove J utterly mad. Tonight I started a Korean one that I've gotten into three episodes of, and I intend to watch more tomorrow. Or something in English so I can stitch and watch as well. I did talk to my therapist by phone today, in our biweekly sessions. It still feels very odd and not quite right. I've read quite a few books as well. Just finished up a history of the Aztecs, Fifth Sun, which is fairly good, and has me interested in what else I can find. Lots of serious reading as well -- a book on the 1918 Influenza, Kingdom of Nauvoo, A History of Britain in Thirty-Six Postage Stamps and so on. I was rather pleased when I found that the book on stamps gave the stories behind some of the UK stamps in my collection. Yes, I'm rather silly about that. I think the cats are just as pent up as we humans are. They go zipping around the house at high speed, and then five minutes later they're calm as can be. Strange. To sum up, I'm getting sick of my own cooking, J can't quite comprehend that we need fresh fruit and veggies in the shopping, I'm utterly sick of watching the Orange Cockroach in his daily pontificating while he's handing out money to the big corporations, and so on. Most of all, please stay safe and healthy. It really does work, this self-distancing and staying at home -- look at how New Zealand has handled this pandemic. They've had ONE death from Coronavirus. ONE. That's bloody amazing. So it goes!

when in February, the whole month for staying at home, I nearly got crazy. Soon, I became calm and started to do something pleased me.

We are sick of home too. Not motivated to clean/organize stuff, but trying to get a few things done.
