I have been idle in lots of my sites for nearly half a year. Now that I am active again I wish to delete cookies but I have to be careful as I might not be able to log in again in some sites. Please do share your tips to save passwords.

Yes it is. In settings don't mark saved passwords.

All my username and passwords are written in one word document that I save in my email draft folder.

@Alexandoy yeah I understand. I have an experienced that saving my passwords on phone and something happened to my phone then I was not able to recover others. I think I have to go with emailing it to myself with an alternative mail as well. it is always good to have an alternative way I guess.

@chavezrmc they say that we should not write our password even on a sheet of paper to be safe. That is not true. If the list is in your wallet then that is probably safe.

I have a similar range of combination and hence I remember these ranges rather than by certain passwords alone.

maybe next time when you join a site, email the password to yourself? (if you don't want to write it in a notebook or a word document)

In most browsers if you delete the cookies the passwords are not deleted. You need to log into the sites again, but the browser should automatically fill in the login page with your saved username and password. Internet Firefox offers the option for deleting separately cookies or passwords. I am pretty sure that Chrome has the option to save our passwords, I use a separate software.

@chavezrmc If you do not want to save the passwords write them down on a piece of paper. All sites usually allow a password reset, but you must remember which email you used.
