A thought just occurred to me.. how much I despise Holy Week.
Settle down you zealots!!! I'm not going to spew venom against anyone's religious beliefs. I'll merely share my thoughts about the Holy Week.
Here goes...
==========
Always disliked the Holy Week since I was a kid. I remember that back in the day, you can't play, you can't be noisy, and there's nothing on TV. You only get to watch televised masses and the mini-series about the crucifixion of Christ. As a child, I do not approve not playing, not being boisterous, not being able to watch TV. I need my cartoons. Plus, I hate not being able to eat meat.
==========
Thursday rolls along and not even halfway done, I'm already losing my mind. I can attribute my craziness to Holy Week. I got a bit crazy every Holy Week and my craziness progressed as the years went by.
Friday was just as bad as Thursday. You had to take a bath before 3:00 pm. Huh? What the... unlike other Fridays that I look forward to, this particular Friday is different as it leads to...
... Black Saturday. Enough said. By this time, all the hype about the Easter Egg Hunt has faded. Plus, I'm already sick of eating either fish or veggies. Still no meat!!!
Easter Sunday cannot make up for the debacle of the previous week. It can never!!! Easter bunny? Seriously? When did bunnies lay an egg? I rest my case.
==========
That Holy Week happens right smack in the middle of summer vacation. For a child, that is a deal breaker.
===========
Watch out for more unholy thoughts from me later. Hopefully, there won't be any but I highly doubt it. LOL!

Everyone has their own ways to look at a thing or event and hate or like a thing. So it's fine

I know how hard it is during holy week but that`s the way we can atleast show devotion to our savior Jesus Christ. I hope the parents will discuss that to their kids for them to appreciate and respect the week.

True.
That is one thing doesn't happen often now.
