Tea or coffee?

I don't have a great insightful post this morning. My brain is not awake yet, and I slept till the alarm today. This is an unusual thing. I am usually up way before this. All I can think about at the moment is how much I want my tea to hurry up. What about you? Does coffee wake you up? Or is it tea? Can you manage without or must you have an A.M. cup of something to get the brain working?

@Jessicalynnt Americans are coffee drinkers, the English are tea drinkers generally.

I need a banana to get me started in the morning. I usually wait until later for tea if I have any. I don't have it every day.

A banana! That made me giggle, because I goofily pictured it in a tea mug!

@Jessicalynnt I never notice the bitterness, but I guess I have just been drinking coffee for so many years, it just tastes like coffee.

There are times when I do have tea, but my caffeine of choice is coffee. My husband doesn't like my dark French roast coffee so I add a little more water to it for him. Yesterday he wasn't happy with the way it turned out so I am going to have him pick up coffee pods from Stewart's. That is his favorite.

if you can get the coffee, you might be able to find a refillable pod somewhere, safe on trash and be more eco friendly. I think even the kurigs now have something like that.

I like my two cups of coffee in the morning but I try to cut down after that.

I drink a big stein of tea in the morning, then I drink water with a fruit flavor+caffine on and off all day. Like one serving I sip on all day. Lately I have also added poweraid powder to it, see if that helps me feel better

What wakes me up is the urge to get things done

lol, I get up for that reason, but my brain is quite sludgey without something warm to wake me up
