It's a community of very special people, many of whom I now consider friends. You can come here and express yourself, whether it be in the form of a conversation, a rant or a soul-baring post. No one will judge you; and you will always have the support of all of us in your time of need.

@Writingghost There's always an exception; but I ignore that person.

This actually is a very special site where many of us, who have no family, are able to not only make friends but adopt family members too. I have one very special lady that I have adopted as my "Sister" as I never had one. I have made a LOT of friends here too.
It also is a site where we can express ourselves as long as it isn't hurtful towards a member without proof. We can warn others about scams, bad products, and other situations. We also are supportive of each other and try to help each other (long distance in most cases) through this tough period of time.
You'll find that I am the family mixed nut whose life is a mixture of craziness and sorrow. My sorrow being that I had my home burn down in 2017. I am working hard at moving forward from that. It is difficult after losing everything, but I am accomplishing it up to a point. If there is something funny that happens to a person it happens to me. I share it with my myLot family so we can all have a good laugh, because in these tough times we all need a good laugh.
It's good to meet you, and welcome to the "family" Have a wonderful time and don't be afraid to jump in on a discussion, we welcome your thoughts.

Well thank you for your very thoughtful and detailed information. That truly helps. As I live with my brother who is very ill and waiting for heart surgery (on top of his immune desiease, my handband has alzheimers - there are very few dull moments here.
