Sometimes it works! A friend of ours has done it, and they are married.. Look at it this way.... You live in a small town.... there are maybe 20 - 30 girls that you may fancy!! You go further afield... to the next town.. another 20 or 30 that makes a total of 60 girls that you maybe interested in... You go to a City....... Count goes up..... maybe 200???? You go on the Internet............. 25,000,000 Hhhhhhhmmmmmmm Maybe it might work?

Well my cousin is marrying her online man at the end of the month, and I really hope it works out for them. She's moving from New Jersey to Alaska for him! YIKES!

I agree with you that finding soul mates online is the worst thing one could do to find their life partner at least. It could be used for fun instead but not find one's life partner because it will not work out because without knowing someone real time, it will always be a waste of time and money, etc for those who use them.

for me, online relationships will hardly be any close to a successful relationship. it won't be as good as meeting them in person, having a normal relationship, dating, and all other things sweethearts do.

I just don't see how you can be involved with someone online. I want to meet someone if I am going to date him. I have had a lot of mean ask if I want to get involved with them. It's to confussing for me online.

Most of the time, online dating leads to failure as we tend to idealize the person whom we are talking to. I see that they have been some success coming from online dating, but I would prefer to not look for our soulmate actively there.
