I always raid The Dollar Tree in March when they put out their seed packets. This year they had some new items such as a carpet of seeds in a roll that you plant as is and they come in Zinnia Mix and/or Fragrance Bouquet so I have, of course, bought both. Also bought Grow Kits with one consisting of Daisy seeds and the other Coneflower seeds--whatever the latter is!! Let's see what blooms in May! :O)

I have seen these kits but never tried them. Good luck! Coneflower are well loved by butterflies.

I am planting chard, lettuce and arugula now although we are heading for winter. And I am also plating some mrigold seeds I got from my garden. I now have 4 beautiful and strong little plants. And I planted more seeds 2 weeks ago to see what would happen and they are coming out.

I used to plant a lot of Romaine lettuce in doors very successfully! I have 28 potted plants in my apartment--mainly flowers but here and there a vegetable!

Are you doing hydrophonics kratky method? what I mean is the kit and the pictures. Different flowers bloom whole year round in the Philippines except when there are strong typhoons.I wish you success on making it bloom on May.

I hadn't thought of the Dollar Tree for seed packets. The Coneflowers sound nice. I'm not doing much shopping now, though, but really would like to have some plants for spring, especially for hanging baskets.
