With COVID19 canceling activities that children look forward to at Easter Season organizers of the larger egg hunts here along with some notable professional sports legends got together got creative and a drive through Easter egg hunt where the children in their family cars rode in a line (which was quite long and receive Easter bags filled with all the goodies they would have been hunting for and each child receive several dollars also.
The footage on the newscast had these officials along with the Easter Bunny handing out the bags and then giving the children 5 onedollar bills which brighten their faces as they counted their money. the first 200 also received a special box lunch. I am glad to see the kids remembered here along with other things being done to help those who are hurting in these .times

It does sound like it was a wonderful time, but I don't see how that is any different from just letting the kids go out in a park or something and do an Easter egg hunt. How many hands touched those goody bags as they made them up to give out? How many hands were all over those dollar bills? How many hands touched those box lunches when they were making them and handing them out? Sounds to me like less hands would have been involved if one person went out and hid all the eggs in a park and then let the kids hunt for them. Not trying to say it wasn't a good event, just did anybody really think about how many people were involved in putting this thing together?

The box lunches which were sealed was from a local well known restaurant that is clean . so only their employees touched those. The dollar bills were new from the bank and only touched by gloved hands and only tow were handing out things as the cars drove up to where things were being handed out. They went all out to keep things clean and safe

@Elizaby Okay, that is good to hear. I didn't mean to criticize the event, it sounded like it was lots of fun, but I just wanted to make sure people were thinking about whether what they were doing was creating a potential for harm, or if it was helping the situation. I hope everyone had a good time and that everybody stayed safe and virus free!
