Reality Check

I was about to go and buy some groceries today. I opened my other wallet... (yeah I have two wallets) ... the one that I leave at home with my reserve cash... I realized it's running low. I hope I could extend it for another week or two... but my bills will be coming in again next week :(
Thankfully, we still have some necessities on-stock like canned goods and rice.

Yeah, me too. I guess I'm still quite blessed. I received a food pack from the school where I teach part-time. It's good enough in case we run out of cash.

I think I will get by. But I can't settle just for getting by this crisis. Some people who can't need help. And I know that it's not a good idea if we let the government do that alone.

@jrlcentral donations to a fund from people would be a big help to those who need help

my reserve cash is in an envelope inside a locked drawer. i also ran out of cash because i just give my atm to be swiped to the one who has the quarantine pass.
but i thought most bill deadlines (utilities, cellphone, etc) even rent have been delayed?

At least Globe did not send their bills for this month. I would have received a notice from them by now. Then again, I'm grateful that I have my G-Credit in case they bill me.
My problem is the electricity and water bills.

If you have lost your income due to the lockdown, you will definitely feel the pinch in your wallet. I am fortunate to have just enough for my expenses.

@jrlcentral at least there is no sign of getting hungry, that's already a reason to be happy.

@Alexandoy True. As long as my family could eat. That's enough for me.

Well, yeah. I'm supposed to give a summer class on robotics this summer. I was looking forward to it before the quarantine. That could have been more than enough.
I still have some savings in my bank though. I think I could get by until the end of the month.
Hopefully, I could earn more income online. I'm going to my services on fiverr.

The way I see it, the quarantine with the municipality or city might be lifted or at least toned down a bit. If and only if, there is no more PUI's. But traveling between towns and provinces might still be restricted.
At least the municipalities with no more PUI's can get about their usual business, work will resume, production will resume.
But those municipalities with PUI's will remain in quarantine. For sure, traveling will not be the same after this.

At the current situation, I won't rely on government aids... I'd welcome if there is, there are more families who need the government help more.

@jrlcentral actually everyone needs because don't expect to go work before June as per what's happening all around so we need to use all our savings

Feel sad about this. In fact, yeah! It's true that the government are giving us some sort of relief packs, companies are helping us True giving some incentives. But still it's not enough. Why?
Yes we can survive within this 30 days. But how about for the next month after the quarantine? Where can we get some money for bills and many more.
That is why I am hoping that we will survive this problem.. Take care as always.. Health is wealth

The way money goes out of the pocket can decide how money comes inside it.
